MULTIDAY EVENTS
June 7 till 25
Cabinet exhibition Silas Schmidt von Wymeringhausen
Kunstbehandlung, Müllerstr. 40
With his multi-layered acrylic pencil drawings, Silas Schmidt von Wymeringhausen documents queer zeitgeist at the beginning of the 21st century and at the same time questions it humorously. He superimposes individual figures or contours groups of people, quotes clichés and symbolizes stereotypes, sketches utopias, and brings electronic set pieces such as robots or VR glasses into play. He is not stingy with fetish symbols and spices the whole thing up with a strong dash of eroticism. www.kunstbehandlung.com

Photo Exhibition: BLUNTLY
Foyer of the Kunsthalle München, Theatinerstr. 8
Mike Kraus (*1973) artistically unites Munich's current festivities – the Flower Power Festival, the 40th Film Festival and the PrideWeeks – in a photographic ensemble. Together, the portraits of six German film stars, adorned with opulent floral arrangements, recall the colors of the rainbow. Powerfully and bluntly, the balanced staging shines at us: seductively beautiful but with a humorous touch. www.kunsthalle-muc.de

"A Queer Action Plan for Bavaria now!"
Pride Parade on Saturday, June 24, 2023
Starting point at 12 noon on Mariahilfplatz
The Munich pride parade is the biggest demonstration of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans*, inter* and queer people (LGBTIQ*) for equal rights and social acceptance in the southern German area. This year's motto is: "A Queer Action Plan for Bavaria now!" more...
What is new in 2023?
Separate line-up for foot groups
This year, foot groups will line up on Nockherberg in the area between the corner of Ohlmüllerstraße/Mariahilfplatz and Hochstraße - only the vehicles will remain on Mariahilfplatz. This additional space will make it much more relaxed for everyone because it is less crowded. At the same time, it will also be easier to join the starting demo.
No more long queues at the toilets
This year you will find more toilet cabins, including WCs for disabled persons, both on Mariahilfplatz and on the new line-up area for foot groups on Nockherberg.
Partially new route
Unfortunately, it is not possible to march via Sendlinger-Tor-Platz this year, as extensive construction work and a closely timed rail replacement service will be taking place there at the same time throughout June. Therefore, the route changes from the corner of Müller-/Fraunhoferstraße: We move from there via Papa-Schmid-Straße to Blumenstraße, then further along the Altstadtring past the Viktualienmarkt and Isartor, across Thomas-Wimmer-Ring and then finally turn into Maximilianstraße. End of the demo is Maximilianstraße shortly before the Opera House, here the vehicles are diverted via Alfons-Goppel-Straße (past the Marstall), Hofgartenstraße to the Altstadtring to decorate off. All pedestrians will continue to Max-Joseph-Platz and from there either via Residenzstraße to the new party area at Odeonplatz or via Perusa-, Theatiner- and Weinstraße to Marienplatz and the other areas.

Registered participants 2023
The deadline for registration was Friday, May 26. The public drawing for the parade positions was held on Thu, June 1 at diversity Café (Blumenstr. 29).
